What it does

What it doesn't
It doesn't wash brushes or remove makeup, and it isn't an air purifier. It's the sanitizing step between washes — not a replacement for washing.
The technology

UV-C · 254 nm
Short-wavelength UV-C light at 254 nm disinfects the surfaces it reaches — the principle used to sanitize tools for over a century.
Ozone (O₃)
Ozone is activated oxygen. As a gas, it reaches between the bristles where light can't, then breaks back down to ordinary oxygen, leaving nothing behind. Independently tested at the Guangdong Detection Center of Microbiology.
Wash vs sanitize
Wash when they need it. Sanitize in between.
Washing removes makeup, oils and pigment; keep doing it. Brushean adds the easy step in between — a five-minute sanitizing cycle that keeps brushes fresh on the days you don't have time to wash. Two steps, one considered routine.

Care
Wipe the exterior with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Continue to wash your brushes as usual; use Brushean to sanitize in between.
Safety
Ozone is generated only inside the closed device and kept contained while the lid is shut, then degrades back to oxygen. Run the device closed, and don't inhale ozone directly. Brushean is not an air purifier.
